This summer, our family visited the ghost town of Bodie, California. After the discovery of a profitable line of gold, Bodie became a boom town in the late 1800s. More than 200,000 people visit Bodie each year. The buildings remain standing as they did when the town was abandoned in the mid-1900s. (Most photos taken with an iPhone)
