Stefan Lovgren

I’m an author, journalist and filmmaker, and if that sounds like someone who hasn’t quite made up his mind about what he wants to be, that’s probably true. I like to find exciting new projects and meaningful stories to tell, whether it’s searching for the world’s largest freshwater fish or helping the Nigerian amputee football team get to the World Cup in Mexico for the first time. While my passports say that I am Swedish and American, I have a special affinity with Africa from my many years of living and working as a journalist there. I like to say that I want to do something a little special, not that I always know what that might be either. So far, it’s worked out ok.
